Description

At long last, the legendary Honeywell PTM7950 Phase Change Thermal Pads from this video are available on lttstore!

If you're looking for a thermal interface material that offers higher performance than standard paste, but you don't want to go through the trouble of something like liquid metal, this is a fantastic middle ground for any PC or DIY server installation. Many laptop manufacturers also go for a thermal pad rather than paste on CPU & GPU installs, so if your older laptop needs a refresh we've got you covered.

PTM7950 sources tend to be overpriced or unreliable in most cases, so we're super proud to offer an affordable, trusted source for this unique thermal material.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Your thermal pad may undergo one or more phase changes during shipping, resulting in it arriving in a slightly deformed state. This is normal and will not result in performance issues of any kind after installation -- your heatsink will ensure even coverage.

In the event of any leakage from the product packaging, please contact customer support.

Unfortunately we cannot accept returns for thermal pads with open product packaging.

Brought new life to my 2017 ASUS ROG gaming laptop

I have a old 2017 15 inch ASUS gaming laptop.
Intel Core i7-7700HQ quad-core 2.8GHz with a 1060 6 GB GeForce GTX graphics with 32GB memory.

I do light 3d gaming and watch media and it has served me greatly over the years.

As time went on, the fans would get louder and louder but really didn't mind as I used headphones. However it eventually got so bad with graphics stuttering with any kind of gaming,

I opened the laptop, cleaned the fans and the nearly non-existent crusted 7 year old thermal paste off of the GPU and CPU and replaced with the PTM7950 thermal pad.

Fans are super quiet now and I am able to game on the laptop and it performs like new when I first got the laptop years ago

A wonderful product.

My old Ryzen 7600 would struggle to boost with the default thermal paste that came with its CPU, now my new Ryzen 9700x3d stays pinned at its maximum overclock speed using this amazing stuff. Thank you LTT for providing a legitimate, no-risk way to buy PTM!

PTM 7950 Rocks!

This is an excellent product, lowered my temps by 15 degrees! And its fantastic to get it from a reliable source. The price per surface area between the small and large products is waaay too much of a chasm though. I mean the price per sqmm of the large strip is a multiple lower than that of the small strip, a bit too much for my liking. Overall excellent.

Worked great

I ordered this over the holidays (December 26th 2024), and although it got delayed due to bad weather, arriving on January 12th, 2025. I was not unhappy with the delivery time by any means.
I ordered this to replace the thermal paste on my aging 1070ti, as well replacing the thermal pads with new stuff off Amazon. it did wonders with the thermals on the card, in fact i will likely replace the paste on my 4060 ti as well.
One bit of user error was that I wasn't aware of how bad it does on normal CPUs (without delidding), so i ended up feeling a bit dumb that I wasted a sizeable amount on an application I did on my 5800X.
Definitely recommend this for anyone looking to lower their temps on their laptops or graphics cards, or any other application you might be able to do with it.
